Allen Stone Performs "Contact High"
When Allen Stone sings jaws drop and faces light up. We were excited to learn he had a couple hours to burn before his sold out gig at the Echo. Just enough time to drop by Knocksville and murder this performance of "Contact High".
Be sure to check out the Washington native's self-titled sophomore album. It dropped in October and it's really...fucking...good.

Wax-Eviction Notice (Mixtape)
Time after time on this blog I'm always posting videos and other content from Wax because he's dope. Before anyone else started riding his fame train I'm proud to say I found him randomly on Youtube. Anyways, he's back with his latest mixtape Eviction Notice. Hip hop emcee that's from the DMV area but now resides in Cali. He definitely has the witty and stand-out punchlines but he also has this story telling capability that many artists don't have. Wax is that dude. Check out some tracks then download the tape. Enjoy.

Young Man Fails To Impress Girl
I'm slowly shaking my head at this because I cannot blame the young man for trying to impress this girl. Here is what happened. He was going to do this flip and then ask her out to to a dance or formal or whatever. But he failed and bust his head open. And the only person to blame is the girl. Why? Because last week she probably was like "I'm in to guys who can do flips and I would love for someone to do a flip and ask me out." Boom. He heard it and now he's in the hospital all bandaged up. I sympathize with dude because this is what all men do when trying to impress girls whether it's big or small. At least he's a good listener.

Death Of Long Distance Relationships (Article)
I'm sorry to break it to you all but long distance relationships have officially died. You know that whole bullshit quote that says "absence makes the heart grow fonder" well it's just a bunch of crap. Not only does absence make your partner go officially crazy but it also makes them clinically insane, jealous, needy, and unfaithful. I mean just peep the word absence! Remember when your teacher from middle school used to be absent for the day and you used to act up in class and throw paper planes, write notes to people, and then when she showed up the next day you were all behaving like A+ students? Yeah that's what your partner is doing during those absent moments.
Okay let me start with the fact that I asked a question on Twitter today that made my @'s go through the roof. The question was: Do people still do long distance relationships? Here are some of the replies I got:
No.
i know not a single nigra who can successfully do that shyt indefinitely
that shit is fucking impossible
that shit goes against human nature
it truly depends on the person and their dedication. It can work though but it definitely calls for WORK
yeah, it's mad difficult though.
Yeah I put a couple of the replies who said it was a lot of work and tough but relationships should not be a second or third job. I shouldn't have to say "Damn this is tough" every single day when I'm dealing with debt, loans, homeless men on the number 2 train showing me their penises, and more. So that's my little blurb to those folks.
But seriously, the reason why I say these types of relationships are dying is because people are just not ready for the trials and tribulations that distance adds on to the relationship. A relationship itself is its own entity and distance comes along like "Bitch I'mma fuck this up." Yes there all these means of communicating via the internets, phone boning, video chat, facebook, emails but it's not worth it. Why go all through that when you can definitely find something better on the homestand. And please don't tell me that you cannot find better because although there are a whole bunch of snakes, and assholes and players and hoes, on the opposite side you have good girls and guys who, if given a chance, can turn your whole world upside down, in a good way. Why go all through that when a partner is cheating or lying to you and you're the last one to know it. Yes you may have all those kinds of problems with the man/woman on the homestand that is closer to you but the distance just magnifies that. Now I'll get soft on you and say that nothing feels better than the warmth of coming home from a long day of work and just getting a hug and kiss from your partner. Being waited on because of those long hours you just put in. Instead you have to hear, over the phone, how stressful work was and offer good advice that won't be taken. Soon enough someone will find that warmth somewhere else and it's not because there was a lack of communication but someone on the homestand is there.
I know a lot of people doing this long distance relationship thing and I just say good luck. No hate or shade being thrown but I've seen mature men and women make all kinds of immature, crazy decisions without their man or woman to see them. Is it because of the distance or is it the nature of whore? I say both but distance plays a larger role.
What's your take on it? Are long distance relationships dead? Are they worth it? Do you really have to find the person who will make you work through it? Comment and speak on it!

Top 10 Tips For When Your Girl Gets Your Phone (Comedy Skit)
Use one of these excuses when your girlfriend gets your phone and watch it get you out of trouble. We have all been in some type of situation when our significant other may peep through our phone after leaving it somewhere by accident. I have never had any problem with anyone looking through my phone but this is pretty funny. My favorite excuses were to just leave, medical condition, and God. Amazing.
