Steve Jobs' "60 Minutes" Special
I know I'm more than a month late but I finally got the chance to watch the 60 Minutes Special on Steve Jobs in which Walter Issacson gets interviewed. Issacson was the one who Jobs picked to write his biography. We get a slice into his personal life and learn a lot about the man who made Apple what it is today. The first part is above and the second part is below.

Lyriciss-The Balance EP Respect
Over the past few years hip-hop’s gone askew, weighted towards disposable music and dishonest emcees. DMV standout Lyriciss is here to to help right those wrongs with his new quickstrike project, The Balance EP: Respect. The project contains four original and hard-hitting selections. Respect is the first of four EPs from Lyriciss’ The Balance series. Keep an eye out for the second EP, Money, due to drop in early 2012.

Phil The Thrill-Barely Awake (Mixtape)
Phil The Thrill releases his long awaited album, Barely Awake. Barely Awake features production from a lot of talented up and coming producers. Barely Awake covers multiple topics such as love, suicide, reflection on life and many more. If you have never heard of Phil The Thrill, this is the perfect way to not only get to know who is Phil The Thrill (the artist) but Phil Frazier (the man). I really enjoyed this mixtape and here are the tracks to prove my point.

Mike Posner-The Layover (R&B Mixtape)
Mike Posner is that dude! Last week he released this mixtape in order to promote his next album entitled Sky High. I guess after 31 MInutes To Takeoff, it's an appropriate name for his second official album. Although Mike Posner is not going to blow you away with his singing he still arranges and makes some of the catchiest songs. With this mixtape he labeled each song with either a drive to this, vibe to this, fuck to this, or something else. You get this picture. And he's right on. So here are 5 tracks for you then enjoy the mixtape. It's a must have. The mixtape also features artists like Big K.R.I.T., Twista, Bun B, Casey Veggies, CyHi Da Prynce, and more.

Logic-Young Sinatra (Mixtape)
Within the past two weeks I had someone email me making sure I listened to this mixtape and I also had my cousin try to put me on this. I say try just because I had the mixtape ready to listen on my iTunes but was not done. Also, little did I know I had already posted one song from this dude. Logic is a 21 year old emcee from Maryland who wants the fame for being lyrical and I think he will get it and not disappoint. I first thought I was going to not like this dude just because the mixtape itself has 22 tracks but I also did not skip anything. Even the skit was dope to listen to. If you're into new talent and checking out lyrical content with some swag then check it out. Here are 5 tracks that I really like and most definitely download when you are done listening.

Fred The Godson-City Of God (Mixtape)
This is the first project that I've ever listened to from The Bronx's finest, Fred The Godson. After he started making some noise with a couple features, especially that toast song with Jadakiss, I started to listen to more. He flows. Has punchlines. And he could put together a good mixtape. I definitely forgot he was once on the XXL Freshman cover but I'm sure I saw him on there and gave him the side eye. But now some time later I'm jamming to his mixtape. Check it out as it features Diddy, Vado, Pusha T, Meek Mill, Cory Gunz, Miaino, and more.

LMFAO's Performance @ American Music Awards
The AMA's were last night and in my honest opinion this was the best performance and the only performance worthy of putting up. At the end you can get the sense that they're having fun and just wanted everyone to have a good time. Even Justin Bieber got in on the action.
