Talib Kweli-So Disgusting

Consistent. Lyrical. So disgusting.

So Disgusting

Freeway-Beard Motivation 101

The song starts out with a radio excerpt of Jeezy talking about Freeway and the possibility of him joining CTE. And this is Freeway's cover letter as he raps over some of Jeezy's tracks.

Beard Motivation 101

T-Pain Ft. Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen-5 O'Clock

Turn that autotune up! A nice R&B song right here. I was a little shocked at how good this sounded but I think it's because I haven't heard from T. Pain in awhile. Give it a listen. It's 5 o'clock in the morning and I want ya.

5 O'Clock

Estelle ft. Swizz Beatz, Raekwon, & Wretch-Break My Heart Remix Pt. 2

It's part 2. With Raekwon. Get it.

Break My Heart Remix Pt. 2

Birdman Ft. Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj-Y.U. Mad

Just a quick note, when I played this song my mother said "Is that Nicki Minaj?" I said yes and she said "HAH! I know my stuff." Gotta stay hip out there. Anyways, I can rock with this track but not for too long because Birdman is killing my brain cells.

Y.U. Mad

Jason Derulo-Pick Up The Pieces

Jason drops another stadium sounding track.

Pick Up The Pieces

Tone P-Sometimes Love

I just got put on to this song by watching the latest episode of the Awkward Black Girl series. In this song he tells the truth about how some females are his sometimes love. One of the greatest phrases I ever heard. You're not my girl, you're not my wife, but you're my sometimes love.

Sometimes Love

Drake-Club Paradise

This is what Drake said about this track:

Dropping this for our boy Avery...this was his favorite shit during the recording process. 2 more songs coming tonight as well.

Well it's not a club track like I thought it was going to be because of the track name but some regular soft  Drake stuff we can all appreciate.

Club Paradise

Ludacris Ft. Waka Flocka Flame-Rich & Flexin'

Very energetic track with Waka yelling all over this track. Haven't heard from Luda in a long time so good to hear a new track.

Rich & Flexin'

Mario Ft. Fabolous-The Walls

I see that Mario is definitely stepping away from trying to make some kind of club banger to push this album. He's definitely a good consistent singer so check this out/

The Walls

Charlie Wilson-Good Love

Everyone's favorite old time uncle takes a swing at this track to tell us about good love.

Good Love

Young Chris-Set It Off Remix

The Philly native, Young Chris, is back again to rip this Bow Wow track up that he had on his latest mixtape. The beat is pretty nice but the flow and lyrics are great. When will this guy make it bigger than he already is?

Observations About Relationships (Tales Of Mere Existence)

Just a few pieces of questionable wisdom I picked up over the years... (Part One of a mini series "Random Observations")

I'm Back Bitches! (Article)

So I'm not really going to try to give you an excuse as to why I have not written any articles for the past whatever months. But I will sit here and give you possible reasons as to why I briefly stepped away from writing meaningful, classic articles (Rick James) When I used to write articles on a weekly basis they were all raw, blunt, personal, and every other similar word you can think of. I was talking about my girlfriends, my friends, my life, my opinions, crazy subject matters, and anything else that could have you sit back and say to yourself, "Hmmmm." I was on a fucking roll. I was in my prime and everything was leaving the ballpark. (Juiced up!!) Then I lost it. Womp to the fucking womp. I completely lost my writing mojo and I had no idea where it had gone. And trust me when I say that I was looking everywhere for that shit. I decided to write a few articles on other topics but it didn't work. I even attempted a few this past spring and summer but nothing was working. I would write a paragraph and just select all and delete. I knew what I was writing wasn't good and I definitely didn't want to let my audience down, whoever yall are. (I seriously don't know comes to this site) So you may ask this question, what happened?

Well a lot of things happened. One of the things I realized from writing my articles is that people would come up to me and start arguments whether it was face to face, commenting on facebook, or whatever medium of communication that sucky person decided to take. Now I don't mind a discussion about my articles but if you're coming at my neck, trying to be hurtful or make disparaging comments then go fall in a hole. I remember this one girl would always comment on any one of my articles and just attack me. Not the article, not other commentators, but just me. It was just so stupid because I can imagine her typing away angrily while I didn't give a fuck and came up with my witty response that shut her shit down. And if you're reading this thinking it's you then it is.

So that was one thing. Another reason things slowed down is because the articles were really personal. After sacrificing myself to this blog I realized I was going to be under a lot of scrutiny. I knew that I was giving a lot of myself to strangers, close friends, distant friends, and more. I created that foundation and relationship because I wanted you all to relate to my stories. No one is alone in their stories and that's something I learned recently. But man my articles were too personal so I wanted my life back for a little bit. Let me live a little bit. I mean it's not like I'm getting paid for this blog. I sit (or lay) here and do this because I know someone out there is enjoying it. Plus I really love this blog.

Those two reasons aren't the only explanations I have for not writing any articles but I'm not going to go all out and give you a boohoo story about each one. If you take into consideration that I work, I like to have fun in my non-internet life, I have friends, I have family, I listen to music non-stop, I drink, I watch sports, I watch Curb and Entourage, I drink some more, I'm paying bills, I'm eating, I'm shitting, I mean there's so many other things that I'm doing that I just went away from that article life.

Buutttttttttttttttt. And this is a big but. I'M BACK IN THIS BITCH! I don't know if I found my mojo back but I did miss writing a few articles a month to get you all laughing and saying "oh shit" to. Actually I do know how I got my mojo back and we can all blame that person when the time comes, which is very soon because she's the reason for my next article.

So basically I'm back. My goal is to write 2 articles a month. That all depends on how much trouble I get into. When you see those articles come in your timeline, newsfeed, messages, or whatever method you come to this joint just read and leave some love as well. It's always great to have some comments. It's like logging on to Facebook and seeing a red little notification. Yeah it could be that same promoter inviting you to some bullshit 90s party but at least someone thought of your ass.

Peace and you'll here from me sooner than later. Next article should cause some trouble.

I don't plan on having my comeback as corny as this song but Youtube wouldn't allow me to stream Young Jeezy's "Welcome Back" on the site.

Cuffin' Season 2011 Calendar

Cuffin' season has returned! How do I exactly know that? Well if you took a look at my tweets you'll realize I say some outlandish stuff, more related to lyrics of the songs I hear but still outlandish. But I changed the temperature of my tweets and said the following:

Taking a chance to pursue a woman is way better than not doing shit at all. I would rather know I tried and failed than thinking what if.

Yikes. Great original stuff from me but boy was that soft. I then noted that it must be cuffing season since I wrote a tweet so soft. Now this is why Twitter is so awesome. My twitter homie @AprilRose replied with the best thing I've seen this year. She sent me a twitpic of the following picture.

Marvin's Week?!! HAHAHAHA. Freaking hilarious. This is simply amazing because I'm sure during the next couple days and weeks we will all be hitting those moves. Well not all of us, the single ones of course. The person behind this calendar is @OlDirtyDennis and he has an article explaining what the participants of Cuffin' Season should be doing. Check it out below:

Enjoy.

PS-I might get back to writing some articles. I have some ideas (Especially since I just went through some absurd shit this past Friday) and I just need to execute.

Ohio State's Evan Spencer Makes Ridiculous One-Handed Catch

QB Braxton Miller hits Evan Spencer for a pretty sweet one-handed catch for 1st and Goal. The Buckeyes would score on the drive to put them up 42-0 on Akron.

That is one helluva catch!

Laelo - Ni#%as In Paris Freestyle

Not too many people can rapper over Kanye/Jay's track but Laelo comes through with a freestyle that I can really rock with. Great lines and great flow. Check it out. Smoke so much muthafuckas can't find me.

Killa Kyleon-Candy Pain & Texas Plates 2: CPTP2 (Mixtape)

So Killa Kelon came out with a mixtape to reaffirm that Texas has a spot on the map when it comes to Hip Hop. I'll admit that sometimes it's a hit or miss with Kyleon but with this mixtape it's definitely a hit. I enjoyed listening to it. It sounded more like an album than a mixtape, which is what everyone really focuses on nowadays. Anyways, preview my three favorite and then download the tape if you like it.
