Yelawolf started 2010 with a blast with his mixtape. Now he's starting 2011 on a similar note with this track. Lyrically speeding through this western sounding beat. Just another day out my door.
YES! Blake Griffin will be part of the dunk contest this year. This year contestants get invited as you will see in this clip below and have a mentor/coach. I don't know who else is part of the contest but I'm picking Blake as the winner.

Every year over 1 million people commit SUICIDE. Some were BULLIED because of their SEXUALITY. I lost a friend to SUICIDE, and I’m asking all of you to support alternative lifestyles. Don’t put up with or join in with BULLYING. It’s time we become more aware in this WORLD. Take responsibility to make a difference. So if my music can save one life, I’ve done my job.
I love you all so much!
Marsha

I don't play many video games. I have an Xbox with a basketball game here, soccer game there, Mafia and one other random game. But when I see trailers like this that make me want to invest in the future for it, I know that I have to own. Check it out:

OH BOY!!! This joint bumps and it bumps and it bumps again. Rick Ross with this clever lines and wordplay and Drake just taking over the song somewhat with his jaw dropping lyrics.
I actually listened to this with my eyes closed and you'll feel the power of music through this. Just listen. Trust me. It's a track meant for someone else and the verse is recognizable but it's good. It's Kanye. Props to Xclusive.
She got me screaming BURRRR!! Well this is a nice tolerable song from these two. Gucci is now in a mental asylum so I hope he gets better and receives the help he needs.
Today I came across this article while over at Dallas Penn's site. It's an article that digs deep into how media and sports journalist portray our athletes when the majority of people in media or journalism are white. It's definitely something that's real and tangible. You see it when Vick is told that he should be executed while Brett symbolizes a man who can do no wrong. Check out the article HERE.
Here's a quick excerpt:
January is a month of sports news. From college bowl games to NFL playoffs, we hide from the cold and indulge our inner fanatics. As someone who’s made a career of chronicling sports, it’s both an exciting and troubling time, because it reminds me that sports media remains a bastion of white privilege in journalism.
I covered my first World Series in St. Petersburg, Fla., in 2008 at Tropicana Field, when the Tampa Bay Rays squared off against the Philadelphia Phillies. As I walked into the stadium, it was packed with fans and full of energy, and I was reminded of my love for the beat I work. But when I made my way to the press box, I suddenly realized the real story wasn’t on the field. As I entered press row, I was first shocked by how many journalists were there—nearly 1,000—and then more stunned by how few of them looked like me, a person of color.
