iPhone App X Beyonce

This woman has an iPhone app that can make beats and if you hook up the right number of iphones and such you'll be in your own studio in no time. Check it out:

Props to Norm out here on these twitter streets. Homegirl has a great voice too. The way she enunciates her words makes it even cooler. Nice

Revalation Ft. Phil Blount - The Come Up (prod. by Sev Da Producer)

I'll be honest, I get excited when I hear Revlation on a track. That's all. Enjoy.

The Come Up

Thadd Williams-Movers & Shakers

He's on the grind with the movers and shakers. Thadd is back with some heat after releasing his latest project earlier. Take a listen. It's pretty good.

Movers & Shakers

Fabolous ft. Cam'ron & Vado-Body Bag Remix

Cam and Vado back at it. NY looking good out here. Fuck yall, eat glass

Body Bag Remix

Dirty Money Ft. Drake-Loving You No More

All About U

Pimp C Ft. Bun B & Drake-What Up

High rollers, wassup. This will appear on Pimp C's album set to come out in October. I'm excited to hear some Pimp C verses especially when he's pulling lines like "Dicks sell better."

What Up

R. Kelly Ft. Rick Ross-She Knows What She Wants

A shorter version came out in November and now the full version is here. Kels is a beast in my eyes.

She Knows What She Wants

Choklate Ft. Drake-Overdose

It's smooth and I like it.

Overdose

Kanye West Ft. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Nicki Minaj-Monster

Rick Ross should have never been on this. They should get rid of his part. Kanye and Jay went in. Nicki was okay but I can't take her shit serious with that annoying voice crap. People say this is her best verse yet though. Oh well.

Edit: I heard Nicki's verse again and I really like it. My bad. Shame on me

Monster

Also take time to cop this other joint that Kanye was a part of:

Stromae Ft. Kanye West & Gilbert Forte-Alors On Danse

Lupe Fiasco-Go To Sleep

Hopefully he gets his album out in 2010. Goodness...

Go To Sleep

Trey Songz-Doorbell + Love Faces + Novacaine

I don't understand the idea of putting out an LP right after he had a successful release. It's not like he has a hit for this either. Oh well.

Doorbell

Love Faces

Novacaine

Killa Kyleon-Bun B For President

Killa takes a stab at J. Cole's track meant for Bun B. Everyone is paying homage to him so that's great.

Bun B For President

Cam'ron Ft. Snoop Dogg-Yo Momma On Ya

You may be wondering who this is. It's the homeless G-Funk singer, Red. He got his song sampled legally by Cam and now they have a song. Here's the song they sampled.

And now here's the song that Cam and Snoop did.

Yo Momma On Ya

Here's some more Red:

Midnight Madness 2010 Dunk Contest

Justin Darlington a.k.a Jus Fly and Guy Dupuy a.k.a Easy J, SHUT DOWN the Midnight Madness 2010 Dunk contest with some absolutely RIDICULOUS dunks, including a cartwheel through the legs, through the legs over people and an under the legs.

Best dunking I've seen in a while. My goodness, that cartwheel shit made me say "OHHHH!!!"

Daniel D-Birthday Sex (Violin Cover)

Danie D is a violinist that can basically play it better than most folks. I used to play the violin myself and he makes me want to pick it back up since he's doing covers and stuff. Anyways, enjoy. He makes the song 10x better.

Shouts out to my homegirl Purvi for putting me on.

Ron Isley-No More

Ron Isley is back!! I know I heard about how he was in the studio prepping for his next album. Well here is it. This is by far the smoothest shit I've heard in a while. Just play and I'm sure you'll feel the same.

Jasiri X-Real Gangsters

Paradise the Arkitech of X-Clan and Jasiri X go on location to New York and Chicago to show the world who the Real Gangstas are, you know the ones who collapsed the economy and were rewarded with billions of dollars. Produced my GM3 "Real Gangstas" is not meant to be a diss song, but a defense of young Blacks and Latinos who are made out to be scapegoats for our country's ills, while the super wealthy continue to add to their tremendous fortunes at the expense of the poor and middle class.

"Real Gangstas don't need guns to leave ya brains on the ceiling they teach ya self hatred and leave ya chained by ya feelings"

Goodness. Greatness once again.

Don't Go

Fabolous Ft. Red Cafe-Does My Thing

Damn. We're just fucking up grammar left and right but still a good song I guess.

Does My Thing

Carlos St John-Hard In Da Paint Freestyle

My goodness...This is definitely one of my favorite freestyles over "Hard In Da Paint." I mean either you go hard with this and win or you go soft and no one cares. I told my old bitch, im into new things.

Hard In Da Paint Freestyle

Earth Tone-Look At Me

I don't know if I've had this on the blog but this is very soothing and capturing. Just sit back and relax as you listen.

Hold Yuh

Safe Sex (Pic)

I thought this was funny. Saw this over at http://collegestudybreak.tk/

Cayan Ft. Black-Rock That

Coming out of Northeast DC, of course Wale was a heavy influence, so we figured why not pay homage? This song is a statement and hopefully brings the sound of our city even further to the forefront of the industry

I'm definitely rocking it. Pause.

Rock That

Power Hour (Kanye West Parody)

Kanye West's vision, as seen through the lens of party dudes

I enjoyed this a lot. Parodies are great. Maybe one day I'll think of one.

The N-Word And White People (Article)

Although I will not be talking about the differences between nigger and nigga, I thought this picture was hilarious and a good point to start this dialogue. This past week or two, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, an American radio host, was using the N-word like nobody's business when she was replying to caller. If you don't know who Dr. Laura is that's okay. I didn't know who she was before she said the N-word and it was all over the news. Here is what wiki had to say about her radio program:

Her call-in radio program occasionally features short monologues on social and political topics, but consists mainly of her responses to callers' requests for personal advice. Schlessinger's answers have been variously characterized as direct, wise, to-the-point, abrupt and cruel.

Here is the video clip:

So I don't really want to go into all that other stuff she was talking about in terms of when black people use it it's a term of endearment and when white folks use it it's always racist. Although that may be true at many levels, I have this one question to ask that sparked in my head while I was listening to Claudia Jordan on the Foxxhole. Why do white people want to use the N-word anyways? Why do white people want to say nigga to us as a term of endearment?

I actually got up this morning and started thinking of all the advantages and gains that a white person would receive if they got to use the word nigga and I couldn't find one. Maybe it's because I'm not white but come on!! Is it because the word may slip out at some time and you'd rather have American society say "Hey it's okay" rather than "Muthafucka you're a racist." Do you want to be comfortable in front of black people when you're singing along to Lil Wayne or any other Hip Hop song? Do you want to use it as a term of endearment? There's nothing endearing or affectionate when a white person uses the N-word to a black person. Point. Blank. Period.

I write this because I actually have no answer to this question and would hope that if you're reading this you can take the time to comment and have a discussion about this. The floor is all yours and thanks for reading.
