WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO CHRIS BROWN'S FUTURE?!! (ARTICLE)
It's Tuesday night...I don't write articles during the week but I feel like this one is needed because I have too many discussions about it with people that are close to me...I never touched the subject because I thought it wasn't my place but I have a mouth to speak, fingers to type...and we're going to get this show on the road...
Chris Brown HIT Rihanna...He hit her..and bit her...She was looking bad..I remember the first time I heard about it I didn't believe it until I saw this:
Goodness...And I also read the report and I didn't see why anyone had to lie about the situation...Chris flipped out and fucked up...Now most people would be in jail right about now but Chris got sentenced to 5 years probation and 180 hours of community service and a check up with his officer every three months...Hmmmm...Doesn't sound too bad to me...But most people are wondering why he got "off" or why he didn't get more than just a slap on the wrist...Here's my opinion...Rihanna went back to the home island, chilled for a little bit...Had her birthday with a small group and wasn't really making noise...But then all of a sudden she started showing up places with Andrew Bynum, Leonardo, and other stars that were potential "smashees." I don't blame her for that..I don't blame her for living her life (Like she said in her song) But imagine what kind of sob story it would have been if she showed up on Oprah...Imagine what kind of impact she would have had if she talked to Barbara Walters...Or even The View...Sat down with NBC...Sat down with Larry King...I mean...If she told her story about what happened then Chris would be getting his time..There would be no time to "forget" and "forgive" what Chris did...The media would have wanted Chris in jail...The American people would have sided with her and that would be the end of Chris "Ike Turner" Brown...Which leads me to another point...
What the fuck did happen that night? What caused the relationship to deter? Why does Rihanna not want to uphold the stay away order that the judge sentenced? Something had to be done on her part...Real talk...With every scandal that I've seen the victim always comes out to talk...No matter what...I don't know if she's taking her time but goodness...There were rumors that she gave Chris some STD's and other bullshit like that...Can we just dismiss that? Nope...I think there is some kind of gag order on both parties on what Rihanna may or may not have done...Maybe Chris has something under his belt that he could just unleash at any time when homegirl decides to act up...I'm just saying...and I'm just speculating...
Another quick point is that many artists have not really said anything...But let's take Bow Wow...Who cares what you think about him but he has a positive image and he attracts a lot of the ladies...He's there for Chris saying he has his back...Hmmm..Would I put my positive image at risk to support a violent person? Maybe/Maybe not..Am I reaching? Hell yeah...But when I reach I get some answers...I mean..personally..If someone I know did some crazy shit...And I knew they were 100 percent innocent then I would be behind them all the way...No worries on my image (I have no image) But if my homeboy was wrong then I just got to sit back and let him ride it out...
But that's my rant...Chris will continue to make records...he will get his endorsements back and he will become the sweetheart that he once was...All he has to do is stay relevant and not fuck up...I say this because when Kobe got rocked years ago with that scandal it was either 1. Play my ass off and drop 40 points a game 2. Get sad, ruin the Lakers' franchise and get fucked in the ass in prison...I would choose number 1 immediately...Chris Brown..My advice to you is get with Gucci Mane right now and make a hit record...haha...Or anyone that's hot...Get back in the limelight and do your thing...
Oh yeah...Rihanna is going to blow up!! Just wait until she comes out with an album...I dare you not to buy it...I fucking double dare you...
