Like I said before, I'm trying to get my learn on, my politics on nowadays...So when I saw the headline for this on CNN, the first thing that I thought was Russia invading the state of Georgia...I have to keep it real people...I'm sure someone else felt the same way for like 3 seconds...But I know we have no beef with them yet, so I then thought of the country...and then I realized that innocent people were being killed...and then I began to wonder what the hell was going on!! I read articles everywhere and I still don't know what the beef is about...It sounds a little fishy like Vladimir is trying to send a message to someone...Who are our allies? Who are our enemies? Are we in danger? Who do we side with?!!! Damn...being the President must suck because now you have to deal with all that and people at home...Oh well...I just hope this international shit ends...

Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital...I am very shocked and sad to hear/read about this...The man was one of the funniest comedians ever and to see him go at the age of 50 is devastating...Please take the time to pray for his family and of course we can all remember why he was so great with these videos:

So I'm sure everyone knows what has been going on with this Packer-Brett situation...If you don't, let me fill in the blanks...Brett Favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game of football...Very skilled, very talented, and very dedicated...played with the Green Bay Packers for 15 years from 1992-2007...It was a great run and the man decided to resign on March 4, 2008...



Very emotional...So of course he said his goodbyes, said his farewells...all that junk...made the cover on Madden 09 which is being released on August 19th by the way...So people thought he was going to get by that Madden Curse...BUT somehow that Madden finds a way...Whispers were going around about a comeback, wanting to play again, and wanting to play with the Packers...Now if I was part of the Packers organization I would not think twice about letting a future Hall of Famer back in the game to play like 1-2 more seasons...it's good for the fans, good for the team...He's the reason why those upper deck seats got sold out in Green Bay...now of course those seats will be empty because Aaron Rodgers is the guy who they are going with...I don't have nothing against Rodgers but when you're put up against Brett then there is no competition...

So they go back and forth, try to get him reinstated, treating Brett like trash, miscommunication, different things like that, until finally they put him on the team...But when Brett arrived at camp, he didn't practice, nor did he feel like he belonged there anymore...and that was the fault of the Packers (freaking bums) So of course other teams wanted him, trades were being offered, and then I read this joint on ESPN that says Brett is going to New York to be a Jet...WOW!!! Yea baybeh!! I'm not mad at that at all...come to a real city where we love you one day, and hate you the next...but it's Brett so it doesn't really matter...I do fear for any team that goes against him because I would play with a chip on my shoulder...I would play like every opponent was Green Bay and just shit on them...1000 yards per game..Just bombing every single throw...Like he's in the huddle and says "Yo, everyone go long....I got you." I would go long and catch that ball...I wish nothing but the best for Brett, and wish everything goes wrong for Green Bay...will he do well in NY? Who knows...But really who cares...let's get back to actually loving the game of football and respecting the living legends...goodness...

GAY SON (WHAT WOULD YOU DO) (ARTICLE)

What would you do if you had a gay son? For some reason this question was bouncing around in my head (no, I am not expecting a child…well I hope not…if anything it’s not mine) I didn’t really know how to tackle this so I am just going to try my best…Here we go…

Personally, I have nothing against gay people…a very small percent of my friends are gay so I don’t really have that much experience in that sense of being comfortable around them…Let’s keep it real for one moment…We always say that we would have nothing wrong with having a gay roommate, or having a gay friend…but do yall really mean it? Are you ready to walk into your room to catch your roommate having sex with his partner or are you ready to hear stories about how your gay friend was hooking up with his partner or just anything else? To be honest I am not ready for that…and the only reason is because I haven’t experienced it…nor do I want to experience that…It’s like looking at porn sites (lets keep it real) and looking at the genres and you see “Hardcore, big butt, white on black, and gay sex.” If gay is not your thing then why would you purposely want to see two dudes giving it to each other…It’s more of a preference rather than hating on the fact that the people are gay…cause I sure don’t want to see a topic that says “rape” and see women getting tortured and such while having sex…So that’s one facet of it…

So with that in mind let’s hit the topic at hand…in particular I’m talking about having a gay son…not a gay daughter…So remember that because I feel that it would be different for certain people…And of course it seems that people would rather see lesbians than gay dudes…So I have a gay son…I wouldn’t really find out until maybe one day I caught him in action, or he came out the closet or any other way…You cannot tell if a child will be gay when they are crawling around the house, wearing diapers, and doing baby things. In fact it would only be until the maturing stage and where the child decides to explore their sexuality and then boom he makes a choice as to whether he likes dudes or girls…It’s a whole argument dealing with nurture versus nature that I’m not really trying to tackle so I’m going to leave that alone…BUT if my son were gay I would support him all the way…That’s blood, that’s family, that’s MY FUCKING SON!! But again let me keep it real…Parents always talk about their kids at work, “Hey how’s little Ricky doing?” Uhhhh…he’s doing fine. Growing into a big man. Those conversations may become awkward at some times because I know that as a father I would brag about my son being an athletic person, getting girls left and right, all that manly stuff that dudes pride their son in…I haven’t really experienced fathers saying, “Yea my son is getting dudes left and right. He’s the best gay dude out there.” Really at the same time you may think you’re supporting him, but you’re still keeping him in that “closet.” How would the relationship change? Maybe some fathers/parents would be disappointed, angry, happy, and other stuff…Someone may get disowned, beat up, different discriminating stuff…For me, it would be such a wild experience that I would definitely try my best to support fully because like I said before, that is my son, my blood, my little baby boy that I saw grow up…Really anything that kid does shouldn’t deter any feelings you have for him (Unless he does some major illegal shit)

Now we have to remember how hard it is for gay people…People are using the word gay in a negative connotation every day…and even though I am not gay, I HATE when that shit happens…Like if someone says “That shit was so gay.” Why does gay have to be so negative and put in a dark light…I try to correct people and question them if I can…some might not give a damn and do it anyways and some may start to realize what they are saying…The word “faggot” is used so much and I know I never will use that word because it’s so demeaning and it is similar to someone calling you a “Nigger” or for any other racist term…

I don’t think I really formulated this in a correct way…I just want to get some conversations going and some ideas flowing...and see what people say…I asked some people what they would do if he/she had a gay son? Here are some replies that I got:
