HOMEBOY SANDMAN! 7/25 KNITTING FACTORY

Aite...IM GOIN IN for HOMEBOY SANDMAN. So let me tell my story while I bump his album in the crib...So last year my man Erick Espin, who was one of my bosses when I had a job, came to all of us (Us=advisers for the summer program, Prep for Prep 9) and began to pitch Sandman to us...(Homeboy Sandman is part of Prep 9 too...we fucking run New York) Anways, Erick knew that we always listened to new shit in the adviser room because I was always dropping classics and new stuff (I introduced them to Soulja Boy Superman, Lloyd ft Wayne, and other classic shit) So Erick came with a compact disc and told me to take my ipod off and drop that CD in there and take a listen...He put on "Everyday Love" and while we were all in awe we didn't really understand was going...He broke it down for us, paused the track, hyped him up and we were like "Ohhhhh, thats what it means." But I wasn't sold, so I was ready to keep it moving but Erick wasn't stopping at that...So he put on "Nuts" in which Sandman raps over Justin Timberlake's "My Love" with "My Nuts" and it was funny as hell...A lot of wordplay and I was impressed but really I was trying to listen to some other shit...no time for Sandman...Erick left the CD and told us to take a listen to it...That CD stayed on the desk and did not get air time from us at all...haha...It's not that he wasn't nice but I guess we weren't ready for it...BUT THEN ONE DAY I took the CD home and I was like "Yo let me listen to this shit real quick for my man Erick." And I'm glad that I did...He starts out the album with "Vitamins," with some ridiculous word play and lyrics that would keep us from getting malnourished with that hip hop bull shit that's out there now (Album is called Nourishment) But then I listened to my favorite song "We Can Fly" with the nice Spanish beat in the back and that's when I decided that I was going to listen to the whole cd...And the album is hot...now on iTunes...But I even got my man Erick to send me a package in the mail of the CD with more songs, and writings all over it...(I was happy just to receive a package anyways) I tried to get him to perform at Boston College but I think I was messing up with connects and stuff but this year I'm going to try again...BUT most importantly, HOMEBOY SANDMAN IS GOING TO PERFORM JULY 25 AT THE KNITTING FACTORY FROM 10PM TO 3AM, NEW YORK

Okay...so Phaymus is a dance group from my school (Boston College) that is going to perform live on 106 & Park on Wednesday July 23...that's tomorrow for anyone reading today and today for people reading today...haha...But this group is hot...It was founded by my homeboys Kevin Owens and Jermaine Curtis in 2004. Their mainly a hip hop group but incorporate many other facets such as jazz, tap, and cultural dance...Personally I like them because they bring a lot of energy when they perform and I have friends on the squad...haha...But yea, the show starts at 6:00 PM and it's live so make sure you support and then vote for them at www.bet.com. It's part of the Wild Out Wednesday joint they got going on so be prepared...Will I be there?! I KEEP THAT WHITE GIRL (ARTICLE)

IT’S GOING IN SEASON!! Wow I was feeling a little empty because I didn’t go in for a long time…but as you see from the title I’m guessing yall are waiting for what I’m going to say so let me just start…

The relationship between the black man and the white girl is one of discussion…I’m talking about the getting in part…the hook up part, the freaky part…So the question remains as to why are white girls so in love with the black men.? I am asking this question because of experience and shit that I have seen…My first experience with a white girl proved to those white girl stereotypes…To keep the story short let’s just say that I had a birthday present…a good one at that…I didn’t really dwell into the type of power I had…I mean I was always wifed up during high school but I always think of what it would have been like if I wasn’t…I was a black teenager, majority was white people, and I had any pick…Am I being cocky? Yes…and the reason is because no one knows what would’ve happened so I’m just going to take the cocky route…I probably could’ve smashed so many white girls…but only God knows…

So now I’m at Boston College where the white girls are plenty and the black girls are plenty…And most of the white girl experiences I’ve seen always deal with hooking up and stuff like that (I’m not doing the hooking up, well maybe just a few) But once again I’m at a point where the white girl loves the black man…I think it has to deal with the swag, the stereotypes of the black man, and trying to snag one of these athletes out there…Yup we all know how easy it is for an athlete to pick up a girl, but the white girls just make it easier for them…It’s crazy how many times I’ve seen white girls flock to the athletes and all that…I’m not hating because I get flocked at too when I’m at parties but I think it’s because they think I’m an athlete (Goodness, and all this time I thought I had game) I’ve had some encounters here and there but not to the crazy extent that some of my friends may have had or certain other individuals…I know black dudes that only mess with white girls because it’s so easy, I know black dudes that prefer the white girl just because it’s in their blood…

Wow…I’m actually having a rough time talking about this because I guess I’m not a white girl…I can only make opinions about what I think the situation is like…so basically I need a white girl to comment on this please!! I mean you could comment anonymously and say “I just love that black di*k” or maybe “I’m a freak.” Let me know what’s going on…But to let you know the point of view of the masses, it's that we can have any white girl out there...White girls are easy, freaks, and just having a few down for the movement is great...If I ever really ever focused on getting a white girl then it would happen at all times whenever I went out to party with them...and that is how most of us black guys think. I don't want any black dude telling me otherwise...haha...But let me end with one more thing…

Black girls need to stop hating on the fact that black guys are hitting up these white girls left and right…Black girls have a disadvantage, real talk, with the hooking up game…I mean, I feel like they can have any man they want but it’s not seen a lot…Black women just don’t mess with the white man like that and vice versa…It’s probably because of stereotypes or other races feeling scared of the black women (I’m still scared too) But if that’s the case then these black girls need to stop complaining about the black brothers…If you’re trying to just smash, one night stand, then there are black guys for that, if you need a snuggle buddy, then there is one for that, a hubby, then I’m there for that (Wink Wink) Don’t let one bad experience mess up your future experiences with the black man..Yall may have already passed him and because yall were giving that attitude and all that other mess then you lost…You took a L…I love my black girls so if anything I could be that smashee, cuddle buddy, or hubby…and all the other black men are capable of being one of those three…DON’T GIVE UP ON US!!!
